November update!

Can you believe today is the last day of November. Wow, where has the time gone? Hope every one's Thanksgiving was a great and everyone could reflected on why we are so thankful and blessed this time of year. Our day was terrific, Andy fried 2 turkeys and I fixed the sides, all turned out so good and tasty. Of course leftovers are always the best! The boys had a great time playing with their friends and the night was ever so prefect for chasing each other in the dark with flashlights... Clayton lost his first tooth on the 21st, so the tooth fairy made her approach at the Peay household. Clayton was full of questions as to how does she get in, and what does she do with all the teeth? He was even more excited to get $3 for it... Caden has had many lumps this month, he is one tough boy. He is doing his best to keep up with brother and unfortunately it has cost him some head injures. All in all he is well, his new nickname is Lumpy or Knot Head. So in a recap, I have a child who is getting teeth, one losing teeth and one I pray will keep all his teeth until age 5 or 6. Clayton had his school program on the 18th, he was an Indian. Pilgrim he said are boring, therefore we were an Indian. He had to come up with a "Indian name", position in the tribe and in general a little narrative. He did a great job presenting his presentation in front of 30 adults and 14 kiddos. The best part is when he volunteered to say the blessing for the entire group. Our hearts just grew tenfold, how proud we were of him. Katie is up and going, she so much wants to walk. She stands and cruises the furniture, and will stand alone. That first step is not quite there yet. We love to put on music and watch her dance. She is truly our little dancer. We got our family portrait pictures back and boy they are fabulous. Our photographer does such a wonderful job capturing the image of the kids and their personalities. What a blessing to have those little moments of time captured in a bottle of sorts. On the 9th, Andy and I ran our first 5K run, so it was 3.2 miles. It was great to be out and enjoy the morning running, I think that's my new favorite sport. We had fun and plan to do it again. enjoy all the moment of the upcoming holiday season. We will be busy rounding off the semester and getting ready for our ski trip at the end of the month. Look in your mailboxes within the next few weeks, I will send out our yearly Peay christmas card. It has some great pictures in it, and you are assured a good laugh our two. Enjoy the Christmas season...love to all
